  • Hypothalamic hamaratomas (HH) are rare, benign tumors found in the hypothalamus.
  • HH is associated with seizures, early puberty, cognitive (for example thinking and memory) and mood or behavior problems.
  • Mutations or changes in a gene called GL13 may be involved.
